Looking for something fun to do at Lake Ericson? We host a variety of events that are sure to keep you coming back for more—all while supporting some great causes along the way.

The Ericson Lake Events Committee was formed in 2016 for the lake’s Centennial Celebration and has continued to grow each year since. Our events include a 5K Fun Run, Cornhole Tournaments, Outdoor Movies, Paddle Poker Run, Husker Tailgate Party, Duck Races, Bake Sales, Silent Auctions, Farm & Ranch Raffle, and a festive Christmas Light Display.

Since 2016, these events have helped raise funds for numerous improvements around the lake, including a handicap-accessible restroom, new swim ropes and beach upgrades, picnic tables, two tornado shelters, and new playground equipment at the park. We’ve also assisted with dam repairs and are currently raising funds to renovate the century-old carousel that was damaged in the 2022 storms. We’re hopeful to break ground on that project in 2026. In addition, two new sun shades will be installed at the swim beach this spring.
